Education Mission: At West Irving Church, Christian Education is a vital and necessary component of
the total ministry of the church for all ages. Our priorities are to encourage
and enable children, youth and adults while under the care of the church to grow
in their experience and understanding of God's love and to equip them with the
means of continuing in the way of discipleship. |

We seek to meet
the above stated goal through the following objectives:
- To
create an atmosphere of love and acceptance where
adults can encounter the love of Christ.

provide the opportunity for adults to respond to the
gospel of Christ as it is articulated throughout the
Holy Scriptures.

- To
assist and challenge adults to continue growing and
living as disciples of Christ.

- To
encourage adults to identify and exercise their own
gifts and talents for ministry within the local
church and within the community at large.

- To
suggest spiritual disciplines that will help each
student proceed on the path of discipleship at work,
at play, and at home.
